With the message of this book being the internal unity and interconnectivity of Scripture itself, tied in with historical context, I was excited to utilize these images of real Biblical artifacts and historic translations from many different eras. I worked with the author to assure that he was happy with each scripture that was used on this cover, from the original Greek and Hebrew manuscripts, to Old English, to the newer English translations. The way they are "two sides" of the same strip of parchment, overlapping and interweaving with each other, was able to beautifully convey the main theme of the book.
